I am a Senior Research Associate working as the Project Manager of Giving Voice to Digital Democracies: The Social Impact of Artificially Intelligent Communications Technology, funded by the Humanities and Social Change International Foundation. I am also a Fellow at Trinity Hall. Fellow at Downing College.

My main research interests focus upon different aspects of the analysis of natural language, and, therefore, the academic areas with which I am most closely involved include Philosophy, Theoretical Linguistics, English Literature, and Speech Recognition Technology. My recent research has focused on developing language-based AI systems that are more ethical.
