Background

Background

I finished training in Diagnostic Radiology with MSK specialisation at Addenbrooke's Hospital in December 2011. My specialist training also included time at the Norwich Radiology Academy and in Nottingham at the Queen's Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital. In 2011-12, I worked with the Bone Research Group in the Department of Medicine at the University of Cambridge as the Evelyn Trust Clinical Research Fellow for 2011-12. I was studying for an MPhil in Medical Sciences at the same time, with an exciting collaboration between the University Departments of Medicine, Engineering and Radiology. I started a Wellcome Trust funded PhD Fellowship for Clinicians in October 2012. I am a medical writer, having been an author and advisor on the Oxford University Press Medical Handbook Series, sat on the Royal Society of Medicine Trainees Committee and also am the editor of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management Bookclub.
