Visualisation
The visualisation pages control what is displayed in
the lower half of the image display area. The type of
visualisation is chosen by clicking on the tabs that run
along the top.
The visualisation pages can be located either below
the task pages, or on the right-hand side of the application
window. This can be changed in some versions of Stradwin
as described in the GUI menu
page.
- Blank
- Used to clear the reslice display windows.
- Ortho
- Used to display orthogonal reslices of a 3D data set.
- Reslice
- Used to display a reslice of a 3D data set in an arbitrary plane.
- Isocentre
- Used to display a reslice of a 3D data set in a plane parallel
to the axes of an externally defined coordinate system.
The isocentre task page is used
to define the coordinate system.
- Panorama
- Used to display a panorama (extended field of view image) from frames which have been recorded with the probe moved sideways, in the plane of the image.
- Pressure
- Used to display a reslice of a 3D data set in a plane roughly
orthogonal to all the frames. This is ideal for visualising probe
contact pressure variation during scanning, and assessing whether
corrections to probe pressure are
appropriate.
- RF Oscilloscope
- Used to display oscilloscope traces with live or recorded RF data.
- Thickness
- Used in conjunction with the thickness task page to visualise thickness estimation for bone cortices.
