Matthew Seigel
I am a 4th year PhD student supervised by Prof. Phil Woodland in the Speech Research Group at the Cambridge University Engineering Department.
The focus of my PhD work is confidence estimation for ASR, which I approach using sequential models acting on multiple predictor feature streams.
Some of my other research interests include large vocabulary speech recognition, novel acoustic modelling methods and machine learning.
