In 2005 I graduated with an MSc in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology and an MA in English
Literature and Linguistics from Leiden University.
Subsequently I was a lecturer in artificial intelligence at Delft University
for a year.
From 2006 to 2007 I did an MPhil in Computer Speech, Text and Internet
Technology at Cambridge University.
Over the summer of 2007 I was a Research Assistant on the AGILE
project at the same university.
From October 2007 until January 2011 I was a PhD student in Cambridge on noise-robust speech
recognition supervised by Dr Mark Gales.
Since February 2011 I have been a Research Associate at the Cambridge University Engineering Department on the Generative Kernels and Score-Spaces for Classification of Speech project.
