Shi-Xiong (Austin) Zhang

Austin Zhang is a Research Assistant/Associate in the Speech Research Group of the Machine Intelligence Laboratory in the Department of Engineering. He was a PhD student in the University of Cambridge, working on the Structured Discriminative Models for Speech Recognition, supervised by Prof. Mark Gales, funded by Toshiba Research Europe Ltd. He is a member of Darwin College.

Before coming to Cambridge University Engineering Department in 2009, Austin completed his M.Phil. study in Electronic and Information Engineering department at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2008. You may find out more about Austin in his CV.
