[Univ of Cambridge] [Dept of Engineering]
Thomas Woodley

Hello and thanks for visiting my website. I am currently a PhD student in the Computer VisionGroup of the Machine Intelligence Laboratory, in the Department of Engineering of the University of Cambridge, studying under Professor Roberto Cipolla and Dr. Björn Stenger.

My interests lie in the robust, real-time tracking of human beings in video, especially for the purpose of creating novel Human-Computer Interfaces.

As an undergraduate I studied Mathematics, followed by a Masters in Informatics, both at the University of Manchester. I then worked in industry for seven years, firstly in IT, then in computer games (which was a lot more fun!).

After travelling around the world for seven months I decided on a break from the commercial world, to pursue my interest in computer vision and long-time goal of obtaining a PhD.
