I am currently a PhD student in the Machine Intelligence Laboratory at Cambridge University, supervised by Professor Roberto Cipolla. I'm a member of the Computer Vision group and my main research interests lie in artificial intelligence and computer vision for autonomous vehicles. My PhD research focusses on designing deep neural networks for recognising objects in video sequences and in particular examines the role of recurrent neural networks in incorporating understanding of motion into deep learning architectures.
In addition to my studies I'm also a member of Jesus College, Cambridge and enjoy engaging with the graduate community. I grew up in the South Yorkshire city of Sheffield, which is surrounded by the stunning Peak District National Park, and in my spare time I am a keen runner and climber.
