Xie (Jeff) Chen

Xie (Jeff) Chen is a third year PhD student in the Machine Intelligence Laboratory, working on the Adaptive Meeting Transcription Systems, supervised by Prof. Mark Gales, funded by Toshiba Research Europe Ltd and Cambridge Overseas Trusts. He is a member of Clare Hall College.

Before joining in Cambridge University Engineering Department in 2012, Jeff obtained Bachelor degree at Xiamen University (in Electronic Engineering and Economics (second degree)) in 2009 and finished M.Phil. study at Tsinghua University (in Electronic Engineering) in 2012, supervised by Prof. Jia Liu. He was also an intern at speech group, Microsoft Research Asia from July 2011 to July 2012, supervised by Frank Seide.
