Senior Research Associate or Research Associate

Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate or Senior Research Associate to work on the EU Parlance Project which aims to build robust statistical spoken dialogue systems in open domains. The specific area of responsibility for this position concerns the development of speech recognition and understanding to support noise robust incremental dialogue in which partial phrases are decoded and interpreted on-the-fly whilst the user is still speaking. Candidates should have a PhD or comparable research experience in a relevant area. Salaries will be in the range £27428 to £44016 depending on qualifications and experience, and the position is open for an immediate start.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading groups in statistical spoken dialogue systems. Cambridge provides excellent research facilities and there are extensive opportunities for collaboration, visits and attending conferences.
