Research Associate/Senior Research Associate in Speech Processing
See also the original advertisement at http://www.jobs.cam.ac.uk/job/-18422/ A position is expected to become available for a Research Associate, or Senior Research Associate, to work on a new 4 year project funded by the US Government. The project will develop speech recognition and keyword spotting techniques aimed at situations with only small amounts of language-specific data. This research will build on the current CUED HTK-based speech recognition systems. This is an opportunity to work in a research group with a world-leading reputation and there are excellent opportunities for publications, travel and conference visits. Successful candidates would be expected to have a PhD or equivalent experience in speech recognition, word spotting or a closely related area as well as a very good first degree in engineering, computer science or a closely related field.
