THE HTK HIDDEN MARKOV MODEL TOOLKIT

This report describes the design of version 1.5 of the HTK Hidden Markov Model toolkit. It contains a general overview, description of the core of HTK, the general HMM build philosophy, the recognition tools, the user interface, and the computational optimisations used by the main training and recognition tools. It concludes with a review of some CUED systems built with HTK.
