Mengjie Qian

Mengjie Qian is a Research Associate working in the Speech Group of the Machine Intelligence Laboratory, Engineering Department of Cambridge University (CUED), supervised by Prof. Mark Gales and Dr. Kate Knil. She obtained her PhD degree from the University of Birmingham in 2021, supervised by Prof. Martin Russell and Dr. Peter Jancovic. Before that, she studied at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). From April 2021, she started working on the Automated Language Teaching and Assessment (ALTA) project, funded by Cambridge Assessment. She started working on the Multimodal Video Search by Example (MVSE) project from October 2022.
