Phil Woodland is a Professor of Information Engineering in the Machine Intelligence Laboratory (formerly the Speech Vision and Robotics (SVR) group), of which he is currently the head, and a Professorial Fellow of Peterhouse. He is also the head of the Speech Research Group, and works closely with other staff members of the group Prof Mark Gales, Dr Bill Byrne, and Prof Steve Young.
