I am married to Dr. Sarah Treece, and we have two daughters, Hannah and Rachel, and a son Joseph. We live in
Cambridge and are both members of Eden Baptist Church.

From 2003 to 2008 I held a Royal Academy of Engineering / EPSRC research
fellowship, at Cambridge University, working on mitigation of artefacts
in freehand 3D ultrasound. |

From 1996 to 1997 I was a project engineer at Plextek Ltd.,
which is an engineering consultancy specialising in microelectronics
and communications. Most of my work was in real-time embedded software
design, for various radio based communications applications. |

From 1994 to 1995 I worked for Noise Cancellation
Technologies Ltd. My main involvement was in the design of active noise
cancellation prototypes for reducing engine noise in cars and trucks. |

In 1993, I received a First Class B.A. degree in
Engineering, with distinction, from Christ's College, Cambridge. My
main subject areas were Fluid Mechanics, Aeronautics, Turbomachinery
and Noise Generation and Control. |
